As a Claims Analyst, you will be at the heart of the action, handling a variety of challenging cases. You will analyze, evaluate, and authorize claims from a diverse clientele, applying contractual terms and conditions and taking into account the medical, professional, and financial realities specific to individual insurance. Each case represents a new challenge and an opportunity to exercise rigorous, balanced, and humane judgment.
What you will accomplish with us
As a claims analyst, you will play a key role in evaluating, analyzing, and managing cases that have a direct impact on the financial security of policyholders:
· Conduct in-depth analysis of disability claims by collecting, reviewing, and interpreting all relevant information, including medical, professional, financial, and contractual data.
· Assess eligibility for benefits by applying contractual clauses, internal policies, and medical and functional analysis principles, while exercising your professional judgment.
· Manage complex and sensitive cases, including claims with high financial or human stakes, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (managers, medical advisors, legal services, etc.)
· Maintain regular communication with policyholders and authorized representatives to clarify information, answer questions, and explain decisions in a professional and respectful manner.
· Closely monitor your files, meeting established deadlines, quality standards, and productivity targets.
· Contribute to continuous improvement by updating your medical, contractual, and regulatory knowledge and sharing your expertise within the team.
· Actively participate in team collaboration by supporting your colleagues, sharing best practices, and contributing to a positive and professional work environment.

· Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of files while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.
· Knowledge of the medical field or long-term disability insurance (an asset).
· Independence, thoroughness, and organizational skills in managing priorities and deadlines.
· Ability to perform in a dynamic environment, adapt to change, and work under pressure.
· Advanced knowledge of English and French, as the person will be required to analyze unilingual English-language claims and communicate with English-speaking clients, healthcare institutions, and other types of collaborator
