About the position:
REACH Child and Youth Development Society is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Analyst to join our team at a Surrey respite house supporting 8-10 children and youth with complex behavioural and developmental needs.
This role focuses on creating safe, structured, and nurturing environments where children can build skills, regulate emotions, and thrive.
The Behaviour Analyst will design, implement, and monitor individualized behaviour support plans using evidence-based, trauma-informed, and child-centred practices. You will work closely with frontline staff, caregivers, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent, ethical, and effective support.

What you will do:
Conduct functional behaviour assessments (FBAs)
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized behaviour support plans
Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to front line staff
Support proactive strategies for emotional regulation, skill-building, and positive behaviour
Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on data and clinical judgement
Collaborate with families, schools, therapists, and other service providers
Participate in care planning meetings, case reviews, and documentation
Ensure all practices align with ethical standards, child protection policies, and organizational values
What you need to be successful:
BCBA Certification, or enrollment in a Master's degree program with an approved course sequence for BCBA certification
At least 3 years experience working with children with autism
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Highly organized
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with coaching
Contracted Hours:
Approximately 20 hours per week; Tue, Wed, Thu 3 pm – 8 pm plus some Saturdays (2 consecutive Saturdays every 4 weeks)
Rate of Pay
$50 - $75 per hour, depending on certification and experience
Start date: March 2026
