We are looking for a skilled and reliable Dispatcher to join our team. A successful candidate will be responsible for managing vehicle movements with 3rd party drivers and towing services and keeping our customers updated with the movement status. In this role you will be responsible for internal communication about the status of the vehicle movements, as well as resolving escalations in the field in real time.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Dispatching drivers or tow trucks to move vehicles between our customers and our partner repair facilities.
- Be on call during your shift to ensure all requests have a 15 minute or less response time
- Track transport status and communicate with drivers via Slack, Hubspot, phone, text, spreadsheets, and various logistics portals
- Provide timely updates to customers about the status of their transports
- Manage and maintain records of vehicle pickup and drop-off, and driver performance
- Collaborate with our team to optimize fleet efficiency and streamline processes
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients
Requirements:
- Prior experience with Slack (must have, it's our main communication tool), Hubspot, email, and phone communication
- High spoken and written proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus)
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Prior experience as a Dispatcher or fleet coordinator
- Prior experience working with driver and towing
- Familiarity with Dispatching tools/services and the Google suite, including Google Sheets and Gmail
- Experience and/or comfortability working in a fast paced, high growth environment
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair procedures preferred
- Experience working with fleet customers
- Experience working with tow brokerage companies
- Fluent in Spanish
Hours/Schedule
- The initial schedule is 20-25hrs per week, with the potential to increase hours depending on demand. The scheduled shift will depend on business needs and the availability of the candidate
- ServiceUp's hours of operation are 5am - 7pm (Pacific Standard Time), Monday - Friday.

Contract duration of 3 to 6 months. with 30 hours per week.
