Who We Are Looking For

We are currently seeking an Account Manager to join our growing Toronto-based team. In this critical role, you will work on a global luxury appliance brand and champion an outstanding client experience by delivering programs that consistently meet and exceed client expectations - on time and within budget. In making it all happen, you will liaise with clients, in-house teams, and external suppliers to maintain an organized workflow from idea through to execution, and measurement. The ideal candidate thrives on delivering creative solutions and is committed to going above and beyond to uphold the highest standards that define working at SJR.

What You'll Do

Client & Account Management

  • Lead day-to-day client communication and account administration
  • Manage and communicate project timelines, deliverables, budgets and scopes of work
  • Assist in identifying organic growth opportunities aligned with client and agency strategy

PR, Media & Influencer Execution

  • Execute end-to-end influencer programs, including media and influencer sourcing, outreach, pitching, contracting, briefing, content review, approvals and performance tracking
  • Develop program materials (e.g., press release, key messages, event signage, etc.)
  • Liaise with vendors and partners to support events, activations, and campaign execution
  • Prepare plans, status updates, and wrap reports, including results and insights

Strategy & Planning

  • Remain current on your clients' business, industry, audience, and competitive landscape
  • Support strategy development and client presentations (ideas, programs, budgets, etc.)
  • Translate ideas into clear, concise briefs for editorial, creative, and production teams

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Own day-to-day project management, including timelines, status updates, and budgets
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills when addressing client requests
  • Help guide and coach junior staff, supporting their growth and development
  • Collaborate with in-house strategy, editorial, and design teams

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in a public relations agency
  • Proven experience executing comprehensive PR and influencer campaigns, including strong media and influencer relations (outreach, pitching, materials development).
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and project coordination skills, with a track record of delivering high-quality work on tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of producing error-free, grammatically correct materials efficiently.
  • Proficiency with collaborative tools and project management platforms (e.g., , Microsoft Teams) and advanced use of Microsoft Office.
  • A collaborative spirit, high standards, and a strong commitment to teamwork and client success.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
