What You Will Do:
Scheduling:
Coordinate with trade contractors and ensure they progress according to the project schedule
Budget and Cost tracking:
Assisting project manager with overall budget review and cost tracking
Help issue site documentation and review of any site changes and cost implications
Management and Leadership:
Familiarize yourself with the blueprints in order to foresee problems and minimize the schedule & financial impacts
Ensure project materials and workmanship meet project quality standards
Ensure the all staff and contractors maintain a safe working environment according to company policies
Document the construction process and keep all parties informed on important issues
Complete Various Quality control checklists, create list of deficiencies, issue to sub trades and complete those in a timely manner
What you bring:
Minimum 2 years of residential construction experience
Forming / carpenter background an asset
Excellent knowledge of BC Building Code and attention to detail an asset
Proven performance in leadership and managing both people and construction sites
Demonstrated effective communication and team building skills
Demonstrated ability to problem solve, juggle numerous and diverse activities, organizing and prioritizing appropriately to meet demands and expectations
Be a motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast pace team environment and have a desire to grow with the Company
Salary Range:
$80,000-105,000
