The role
We're looking for a Digital Print Operator who can provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. This individual will produce print orders using various Digital production printers and attachments and ensure compliance with job specifications and company quality standards and procedures. In addition, this person will also coordinate work load schedules to meet customer deadlines, while achieving optimum productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and maintain color and B&W digital production equipment and finishing units.
- Review job dockets; set up, proof, and run print jobs
- Conduct quality checks throughout production and escalate issues as needed
- Prioritize workloads to meet production and delivery deadlines
- Manage inventory, including raw materials, stationery, and general stock
- Submit quotations and invoices using Excel-based order entry
- Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams
- Support general operational tasks: office cleanup, stock handling, deliveries, and phone support
- Promote continuous process improvement
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of digital and offset print processes, color standards, and paper stocks
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Adobe Acrobat/Adobe Suite
- Comfortable with math and production calculations
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a high-volume environment
- Flexible to work overtime as needed
