Leveraging your contract management expertise, you'll support the successful execution of complex operations—ensuring contractual compliance, strengthening supplier partnerships, and delivering measurable value. From building cost analytics and contracting strategies to issuing RFPs, leading negotiations, and managing contracts end‑to‑end, you'll gain exposure across the full contracting lifecycle. Please note: This is a 12-month temporary full-time position with the possibility of conversion into permanent.
Key Accountabilities:
- Explore the market and uncover insights by conducting in‑depth marketplace research and data analysis to support confident, strategic decision‑making
- Lead competitive sourcing initiatives by issuing RFPs and RFQs, evaluating commercial and technical responses, and presenting clear, data‑driven recommendations to stakeholders
- Manage contracts end‑to‑end, from preparation and administration through amendments, change orders, and close‑out, ensuring smooth execution across the full contract lifecycle
- Turn data into decisions by developing meaningful reports, metrics, spend analyses, and cost comparisons that inform business strategy
- Optimize performance and compliance by monitoring supplier and contract performance, proactively addressing issues, and ensuring contractual obligations and SLAs are consistently met
- Collaborate to drive efficiency and value by working closely with cross‑functional partners to improve processes and maximize commercial outcomes
What You Bring to the Role:
- Proven expertise in contract management, with 5 plus years of experience supported by a university degree or relevant post‑secondary education
- Commitment to professional growth, with a Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) designation completed or actively pursued considered a strong asset
- Hands‑on experience developing and negotiating contracts, including drafting terms and conditions that mitigate risk and deliver value
- Proficiency with contract management systems, enabling efficient oversight, compliance, and lifecycle management
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, to analyze data and communicate insights effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate across teams, and deliver results on time
