Front Store Supervisor – Full Time Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Full-Time Front Store Supervisor to lead our customer service and merchandising functions. This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, initiative, and a genuine pride in delivering an exceptional in-store experience.

The successful candidate will be hands-on, solutions-oriented, and driven to help the store operate at the highest standard every day.

Key Responsibilities Human Resources
  • Ensure cashier and merchandising staff comply with all store policies and operating procedures

  • Train and onboard cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and performance expectations

  • Provide ongoing coaching, guidance, and leadership to the front store team

  • Foster a positive, accountable, and customer-first culture

Loss Prevention
  • Ensure all loss prevention standards and procedures are implemented and followed

  • Manage daily cash office functions including inventory control and cashier tracking

  • Oversee tracking sheets and PC Optimum procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Maintain strong attention to detail in all financial and operational processes

Customer Service
  • Ensure employees present a professional image in accordance with the Uniform Policy

  • Answer customer inquiries regarding product location, promotions, rainchecks, and store services

  • Resolve customer concerns (refunds, exchanges, etc.) confidently and professionally within established guidelines

  • Promote the CSI Survey and drive a culture of customer engagement and service excellence

Merchandising
  • Ensure shelves are clean, organized, and properly stocked with correct product rotation

  • Support the setup and takedown of product displays as directed by the AFSM/FSM

  • Maintain strong visual presentation standards throughout the store

  • Take initiative in identifying opportunities to improve merchandising and organization

General Duties
  • Ensure high standards of housekeeping and overall store image are maintained

  • Comply with all Health & Safety requirements

  • Perform clerical and banking duties as required

  • Follow all store policies and procedures consistently

  • Support loss prevention execution across the store

  • Perform cashier duties when necessary

Qualifications
  • Strong planning, judgment, and decision-making skills

  • Independent thinker with the ability to organize and prioritize effectively

  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on customer satisfaction

  • High level of personal accountability and initiative

  • Demonstrates pride in their work and a desire to grow and succeed

Experience & Skills
  • Computer literate

  • Highly organized

  • Strong time management skills

  • Knowledge of retail products and supplies

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
