This role offers a unique opportunity to work in law enforcement, protecting the nation by safeguarding borders and deterring illicit activities. As a Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO), you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce.

You will enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations; facilitate legitimate trade and travel; conduct inspections; determine admissibility for entry into the United States; prevent illegal entries; identify potential threats using intelligence techniques;

• Enforce laws relating to importing/exporting merchandise & enforcing rights of persons entering/ departing from US territories
• Utilize behavioral analysis & risk assessments to protect national security &/or respond to emergencies as needed

• You must have at least one year experience with tasks involving rapid accurate judgments on law applications or threat assessments against CBP mission critical objectives.

Your background must also include some formative training either formally thru institutions like FLETC which grants authority under Title 5 U.S.C.; educationally through advanced degrees equivalent such M.A., J.D., etc.
