Join rTriibe as a Teaching Assistant in Bebington and become an essential part of a supportive secondary school environment. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) who is ready to make a meaningful impact on pupils' academic and personal development.
In this role, you will support students with routines, transitions, and behaviour management, while assisting teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the class teacher in delivering lessons within a secondary school setting.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils as required.
• Assist with managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Help pupils with routines, transitions, and engagement in learning activities.
• Prepare classrooms and learning materials ahead of lessons.
• Promote pupils' confidence, independence, and positive attitudes to learning.
• Support pupils with varying learning needs to ensure inclusive participation.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and prioritise pupil welfare at all times.
• Communicate effectively with teaching staff and school leadership.
Requirements
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working within the UK education system (secondary preferred).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Full-time availability.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references covering the past 24 months (work, academic, character, or school-based).
