Job Description FTE - This position is intended for individuals who will graduate with their Doctorate's degree by, or have graduated within 12 months of the cohort start date in June/July 2026. Target Start Date:
early June or mid July 2026. The Machine Learning Research Group is seeking an exceptional PhD candidate with expertise in Computer Vision and Vision Language Models. Responsibilities What You'll Bring: No visa sponsorship is available for this role.
Ph.D. in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field by August 2026.
Research or industry experience in Computer Vision, with a solid foundation in Vision Foundation Models.
Strong programming and debugging skills in Python.
Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks, especially PyTorch.
Proficient in data analysis and collection from various sources, with a thorough understanding of experimental practices and evaluation methods.
Demonstrated outstanding research accomplishments.
Experience working collaboratively in a research setting.
Strong communication skills.
What You'll Be Doing: Conduct research and implement foundation models for video and image analysis, focusing on areas such as Video Question Answering, Video Captioning, and Video to Text Retrieval.
Contribute to research efforts that lead to publications or conference presentations.
Develop innovative datasets that challenge current AI and ML technologies.
Collaborate with team members and other research teams.
Assist in transferring technology to product teams.
Engage with external researchers in collaborative projects.

Compensation and Benefits: The estimated compensation range for this position is between $79,200 and $178,100 annually. Eligible for bonus and equity.
