Who we are looking for This is a hands-on Lead Developer position in State Street Market's Secured Finance division. We are looking for candidate who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that's always pushing boundaries. The ideal candidate has experience developing applications using Java/J2EE, APIs, databases, AWS, Databricks and multiple back-end languages What you will be responsible for As Lead Developer you will Design & Develop SSGM-Secured Financing applications using AWS and Databricks Ability to drive change through collaboration, influence and demonstration of POCs. Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation. Work collaboratively within an agile project team Follow best practices and coding standards Grow your personal skillset What we value These skills will help you succeed in this role Experienced, highly skilled in the following cloud technologies as a design lead and developer level. AWS, Databricks, Core Java, Tomcat or another J2EE application server, Oracle/Exadata, GitHub, MQ , Kafka PL/SQL, Perl, Scripting languages and other open source technologies etc.. Expertise on Spring framework, Core Spring, Spring Batch, Spring Boot etc. Experience using Scrum, Agile modeling and adaptive software development is preferred. Continuous integration and build process, test automation and deployment experience. Experience with Rule engine and Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) are desirable. Education & Preferred Qualifications Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field 15+ years of progressive experience 5+ years of experience in writing complex SQL queries 5+ years of experience in UNIX and Shell scripting 10+ years of Java/Python programming experience Experience performing data analysis and data exploration Experience working in an agile delivery environment Salary Range: $165,000 - $247,500 Annual The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
