Job Title: Customs and Border Protection Officer

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security is seeking highly skilled individuals to join its ranks as Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPOs). As a CBPO, you will be part of a team responsible for safeguarding the nation's borders, enforcing customs laws, and preventing smuggling activities.

• Detention and Arrest Procedural Knowledge: Ability to detain suspected violators of federal laws using proper law enforcement methods.


• Agricultural Law Enforcement Experience: Familiarity with regulations related to importing/exporting goods from/to the United States.


• Criminal Interrogation Techniques: Proficiency in interviewing techniques used during law enforcement investigations.

The position requires at least 1 year of specialized experience or completion of a Master's degree or higher level graduate education; alternatively, an LL.B. / J.D. degree from an accredited institution can also qualify as equivalent work experience.  Candidates must have primary residence within  the U.S.A® territory for no less than three years out of five years prior to application submission date.
