To qualify as a CBP Officer at GS-5 level requires one or more years' general work experience demonstrating people skills or possessing an accredited bachelor degree. For GS-7 positions it requires specialized full-time work experience that involves inspecting cargo/bags/merchandise performing observational techniques etc.. Or alternatively hold Superior Academic Achievement with required GPA points etc...
