Ribble Recruitment is assisting an established insurance brokerage with the appointment of a Commercial Account Handler to support its Private Clients / High Net Worth portfolio. Ribble Recruitment is responsible for candidate sourcing, screening, and managing the initial stages of the recruitment process.
This role is ideal for an experienced account handler with strong technical knowledge of HNW and Private Clients insurance, who prides themselves on exceptional service delivery and attention to detail.
The RoleAs a Commercial Account Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting private and high net worth clients, ensuring their insurance arrangements are accurately managed and aligned to their risk profiles. You will work closely with clients, underwriters, and internal colleagues to deliver tailored insurance solutions and a consistently high standard of service.
Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with Private Clients and High Net Worth individuals
- Act as the primary point of contact for client enquiries and requests
- Understand complex insurance needs and provide tailored advice and solutions
- Handle policy enquiries, mid-term adjustments, and renewals
- Ensure accuracy of policy documentation, endorsements, and certificates of insurance
- Liaise with underwriters to negotiate and secure appropriate coverage terms
- Analyse client risk profiles to identify gaps and opportunities for enhanced coverage
- Remain up to date with industry developments, emerging risks, and regulatory changes
- Ensure all policies comply with industry regulations and contractual obligations
- Keep clients informed of regulatory changes and their implications
- Maintain accurate and well-organised electronic client files
- Prepare and deliver reports relating to clients' insurance portfolios
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant insurance products
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support business growth
- Maintain strong technical knowledge of Private Clients and HNW insurance products
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Carry out peer quality checks to minimise errors and improve service standards
- Undertake other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business
