CNC Miller Based near WimborneContract role expected to last 3-6 months. Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Miller to join their growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role producing high-quality precision components within a well-established engineering environment.The Role You'll manufacture precision parts using milling machines, ensuring all components meet engineering drawings and company quality standards.Key Responsibilities

Machine precision components accurately and efficiently
Set, operate and programme milling machines with Hurco (WinMax) controls
Inspect first-off parts to ensure quality compliance
Work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area
Follow all company Health & Safety procedures

What We're Looking For Essential:

Recognised Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
Strong background in manual and/or CNC milling
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Good inspection and quality-checking skills

Desirable:

Experience with Hurco / WinMax controls
Background in a precision engineering environment
Knowledge of XYZ controls
Cutter grinding experience

Salary & Benefits

Up to £16 per hour (depending on experience)
Overtime paid at 1.5x
Temporary role expected to last at least 3 months
