Olezka Global is seeking an experienced *NetApp Installation Engineer* to support enterprise storage deployments across client environments nationwide. This is a *1099 contractor role* compensated per project or installation. US Citizen required.
This position is designed for a hands-on field engineer with strong ONTAP deployment experience who is comfortable performing system installations, configuration, migrations, and cutovers in production environments.
This is a *field-based role requiring nationwide travel*, with the majority of work performed on-site at client locations throughout the United States.
*Scope of Work*
* Install, initial configuration, and deploy NetApp ONTAP storage systems
* Perform initial cluster setup, node configuration, and system validation
* Provision and configure NAS and SAN services (NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, Fibre Channel)
* Execute storage migrations and system upgrades
* Perform post-installation testing, performance validation, and operational handoff
* Troubleshoot deployment and configuration issues during implementation
* Participate in technical planning and project coordination calls
* Document system configurations and provide implementation deliverables to the client or operations team
*Required Qualifications*
* Active *NetApp Certified Storage Installation Engineer – ONTAP (NCSIE ONTAP)* certification
* 5+ years of hands-on experience implementing NetApp ONTAP environments
* Strong experience with ONTAP cluster deployment, upgrades, and migrations
* Experience with both NAS and SAN environments
* Ability to work independently in client-facing, production environments
* Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
* Current US Citizen Required
*Preferred Experience*
* Enterprise storage implementation or consulting experience
* VMware or other virtualization platform integration
* Data center migration or infrastructure modernization projects
* Experience working in field services or professional services roles
*Engagement Details*
* 1099 Independent Contractor
* Project-based / per-installation compensation (rates defined per scope)
* *Nationwide travel required*; most work is performed on-site at client locations across the United States
* Flexible scheduling based on project availability
* Contractors must provide their own laptop/tools and maintain active certifications
