Customs Officer Job Description

This role involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations to safeguard the nation's borders. As a Customs Officer, you will be responsible for facilitating legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity.

•  Enforcing customs laws at ports of entry.  


•  Conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances.


•  Determining admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States.


•  Preventing smuggling of prohibited goods and contraband.
