International Boundary Security Specialist

The role of the Border Patrol Agent involves enforcing U.S. laws and regulations at international borders.

• Detecting individuals suspected of violating immigration policies.
• Preventing unauthorized noncitizens from entering the country through effective surveillance and questioning techniques.

To be successful in this position, applicants must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. A high level of physical fitness is also required due to the demands of this role which include patrolling large areas on foot or by vehicle as well as engaging in tactical operations if necessary.
Applicants should have a strong understanding of law enforcement procedures and protocols. Familiarity with federal law would be advantageous but not essential for entry-level candidates who are willing to undergo training provided by their employing agency.
Possessing proficiency in a foreign language may be beneficial depending upon operational requirements though English language skills remain compulsory throughout one's career with our organization..
