• You must possess one year of general work experience or have a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement. You can also qualify if you have previous or current law enforcement or military law enforcement experience.

• Making sound judgments and decisions in high-pressure situations
• Analyzing information rapidly and making prompt decisions
• Dealing effectively with people in a courteous manner in connection with law enforcement matters
