We are seeking highly skilled individuals to join our team as Customs and Border Protection Officers. As a CBPO, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the United States' borders, enforcing customs laws, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel.
About the Role
- You will conduct inspections of people, documents, and goods to detect potential security threats or contraband.
- You will utilize observational techniques, evaluate facts, and review documentation while applying federal laws and regulations.
- You will make determinations that may lead to arrests or seizures based on findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized full-time work experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level is required.
Citizenship: You must be a U.S. Citizen.
Age Restriction: In accordance with Public Law , this position is covered under law enforcement retirement provisions.
