Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to drive the evolution of our website and mobile application - an information hub for the U.S. stock market designed specifically for Chinese-speaking investors. This is a full-time, on-site position reporting to leadership.
In this role, you will own key portions of the product experience end-to-end, creating intuitive and visually compelling designs that guide users seamlessly from onboarding through engagement and monetization. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and executive leadership to define and refine our digital experience across all platforms.
Responsibilities
Collaborate on-site with engineers, product managers, and leadership to discuss, develop, and iterate on product design at every stage of the development cycle
Design user-friendly, visually polished interfaces and workflows that align with product objectives and enhance user engagement
Define user flows, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity user interface designs for new features and product improvements
Create prototypes ranging from low-fidelity to interactive, ensuring clear communication of design concepts and rapid validation of direction
Plan and conduct user research, including user interviews and usability testing, synthesizing findings into actionable design improvements
Develop and maintain a cohesive, cross-platform design system comprising reusable components, interaction patterns, and page templates to ensure visual and functional consistency while accelerating development velocity
Partner with engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation, including detailed specifications, edge-case handling, UX details, and quality assurance support
Continuously gather user feedback and leverage product analytics to refine UX/UI elements, driving improvements in user retention, conversion rates, and overall satisfaction
Create occasional marketing design assets - including social media content, digital advertising creatives, landing-page visuals, and presentation materials - to support campaigns and brand storytelling
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of professional UI/UX design experience in the technology sector
Strong command of UX design principles, including interaction design, usability, and information architecture, with demonstrated ability to design user-centric interaction flows
Strong visual design capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to adapt design aesthetics to meet specific product requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
Proficiency with modern design tools, with strong proficiency in Figma (preferred); experience with Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite is acceptable
Demonstrated expertise in creating interactive prototypes using Figma or similar tools
Native Mandarin Chinese speaker
Preferred Qualifications
Strong documentation and organizational skills with demonstrated comfort working asynchronously and communicating offline
Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and workflows (e.g., using AI to accelerate ideation, content generation, prototyping, or production)
Significant experience owning or substantially contributing to complete product design cycles, from discovery through delivery
Proven track record collaborating across Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to develop cohesive product and brand experiences
Familiarity with large-scale digital marketing campaigns, landing-page optimization, or growth design methodologies
Experience with data-informed design iteration, feature testing, or A/B experimentation
Professional or personal experience in fintech products or stock market investing
Basic proficiency in HTML/CSS to facilitate more effective collaboration with front-end developers
Work Environment
This position is on-site and requires regular, in-person collaboration with team members across all functions. Candidates must be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where design decisions are made collaboratively with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
