As a rapidly growing company supporting the shift towards a fully electrified future, we are looking for people who want to make an impact, are collaborative, driven, and ready to join a strong and growing team.
Your Role:
As the Field Service Coordinator, you will be the central point of coordination for field service activity, ensuring the right technician, parts, and information are in place to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
This role is primarily dispatch and field service coordination, with a smaller internal IT coordination component focused on basic help desk needs and escalation.
This role suits someone with excellent customer service instincts and strong technical curiosity. You do not need a technical degree, but you should feel comfortable with technology, electronics, and troubleshooting conversations, and be eager to learn how EV charging systems work.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Service Dispatch: Intake and triage service requests, communicate with the site host regarding cost estimates and warranty actions, assign and schedule field technicians, coordinate site access, and manage day-to-day service logistics.
Service Triage and Coordination: Identify likely issue type (software, connectivity, hardware) and route to the correct internal team or technician.
Ticket and Case Management: Create, update, and track service tickets from intake through resolution, including coordinating with the Product team for complex issues that require deeper investigation.
Customer Communication: Provide clear, professional updates to customers, drivers, and stakeholders throughout the service process.
RMA and Warranty Handling: Coordinate returns and replacements, manage Return Materials Authorizations (RMA), and support warranty workflows as and when units come back from the field.
Contract Verification and Renewals: Confirm required contracts are active before service is issued, coordinate with Sales when contracts are missing, and initiate renewals when contracts are near expiry.
Internal IT Coordination: Support basic internal IT requests (ex: laptop ordering, basic configuration, account access) and escalate advanced issues to a third-party provider as required.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a calm and confident phone and email presence.
Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems and processes.
Ability to triage issues logically and communicate technical details clearly.
Highly organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple active requests.
English fluency.
Located in British Columbia and able to work full-time from our North Vancouver office.
Bonus Qualifications:
Dispatch experience (field service, facilities, telecom, technology, or similar).
Familiarity with ticketing systems, CRM tools, or service operations workflows.
Experience coordinating warranties, RMAs, or service parts logistics.
