Assessing eligibility for benefits by applying contractual clauses, internal policies, and medical and functional analysis principles, while exercising your professional judgment.
Managing complex or sensitive cases, including claims with high financial or human stakes, in collaboration with internal stakeholders (managers, medical advisors, legal services, etc.).
Draft clear and structured written communications, including decision and rejection letters, demonstrating rigor, diplomacy, and empathy, while ensuring legal and contractual compliance.
Maintain regular communication with policyholders and authorized representatives to clarify information, answer questions, and explain decisions in a professional and respectful manner.
Closely monitor your files, meeting established deadlines, quality standards, and productivity targets.
Contribute to continuous improvement by updating your medical, contractual, and regulatory knowledge and sharing your expertise within the team.
Actively participate in team collaboration by supporting your colleagues, sharing best practices, and contributing to a positive and professional work environment.

Strong collaborative spirit and ability to actively contribute to the achievement of team objectives.
Keen sense of customer service, combined with a professional, rigorous, and solution-oriented approach.
Excellent analytical, synthesis, and judgment skills, enabling you to handle complex cases effectively.
Strong decision-making skills, with respect for deadlines, quality standards, and productivity objectives.
Proven ability to manage a high volume of files while maintaining a high level of accuracy and consistency.
Knowledge of the medical field or long-term disability insurance (an asset).
Independence, thoroughness, and organizational skills in managing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to perform in a dynamic environment, adapt to change, and work under pressure.
Advanced knowledge of English and French, as the person will be required to analyze unilingual English-language claims and communicate with English-speaking clients, healthcare institutions, and other types of collaborators on a daily basis.
