Coordinating critical communications, escalating time-sensitive issues, and maintaining alignment with organizational priorities during transitions.
Maintaining confidentiality and upholding operational and governance integrity.
Stakeholder & Community Accountability
Acting as a liaison between the CEO, Board, Elders, knowledge keepers, staff, and community stakeholders.
Ensuring governance and administrative processes are culturally respectful, transparent, and responsive to the needs of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.
Supporting the CEO in fostering accountability, trust, and positive relationships within the Board.

Liaising with external legal counsel, auditors, regulators, and funding agencies.
Overseeing subsidiary governance and related corporate filings.
Maintaining official corporate records, seals, and reporting systems.

Familiarity with Indigenous laws, traditions, and community consultation practices is an asset.
Knowledge of Canadian not-for-profit governance and compliance requirements.
