Job Summary
We're hiring an entry-level Marketing Generalist who has a solid baseline in marketing execution and is hungry to learn fast in a high-pace, get-things-done environment. You'll work closely with our Head of Marketing to keep campaigns, content, web updates, and store marketing moving—on time, on-brand, and improving month over month.
This is a hands-on role for someone who's organized, deadline-driven, and excited to ship work weekly, learn from feedback, and build real marketing chops across channels.
What You'll Do
Campaign Support
Assist with promo planning and rollout checklists
Build and maintain campaign calendars (weekly + monthly)
Coordinate deliverables across web, social, paid, and in-store
Collect details from ops/sales (dates, pricing, locations, inventory notes)
Track tasks, approvals, deadlines, and handoffs to keep everything moving
Website Updates
Update homepage banners, promo blocks, and basic landing pages
Post store updates (hours, openings, announcements)
Fix basic issues (typos, broken links, images, formatting)
Support SEO basics (titles, meta descriptions, location pages)
Help with tracking checks (UTMs, pixels/tags—guided by the team)
Social Media
Schedule posts and maintain the content calendar
Support multiple accounts/pages (brand + locations, if used)
Community management: replies, DMs, comment moderation
Pull content from stores (photos/videos), organize, and repurpose
Create channel-specific versions (IG, FB, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn)
Keep profiles updated (bios, links, highlights, pinned posts)
Paid Media Support (Assist, Not Lead)
Help prep assets, copy, and audiences for campaigns
Build UTM links and maintain spend/creative trackers
Monitor performance and flag issues (broken links, rejected ads, spend spikes)
Support weekly reporting and capture learnings
In-Store Marketing & Store Support
Create and distribute promo toolkits to stores
Coordinate signage needs (posters, window decals, menu boards, displays)
Work with print vendors on quotes, proofs, and delivery timelines
Maintain store opening kits and "coming soon" materials
Content Production Support
Assist with product photos and simple edits
Basic short-form video editing (cuts, captions, resizing)
Organize and tag assets in the shared drive
Repurpose content into multiple formats
Analytics & Reporting
Maintain weekly dashboards (web, social, paid, campaign results)
Pull channel analytics and summarize key takeaways
Track what creative/offers performed best
Maintain "what we learned" notes after promos and openings
Optional (Nice-to-Have) Responsibilities
Marketing Operations (MOPS)
Help manage request intake (forms/queue), priorities, and timelines
Maintain templates, naming rules, and folder structure
Improve processes to reduce rework and speed up turnaround
Design Support
Light graphic design for flyers, posters, social assets, and ads
Update templates (Canva/Adobe) using brand standards
Skills We're Looking For
Highly organized and deadline-driven
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Strong writing for short promo copy and captions
Comfortable learning new tools (CMS, ad platforms, scheduling tools)
Good visual taste + attention to detail
Takes feedback well and improves quickly
Clear communicator with store teams and internal partners
Experience & Education (Entry-Level)
1–4 years in marketing, content, retail, or admin support
Co-op, internship, and portfolio work count
Basic photo/video experience is a plus (not required)
Tools You'll Use
Google Workspace (Docs/Sheets/Drive)
Social scheduling tools (Zoho, Meta Business Suite, Later, etc.)
Basic design/video tools (Canva or Adobe)
Analytics (GA4 basics, platform insights)
Paid media (Meta Ads Manager support tasks)
Compensation
Base salary: C$45,000–C$52,000
Bonus: Small annual performance bonus based on output and ROI
