This is a student position that is 4 months in duration for the term May-August. You must be a student registered in a Canadian College or University.
This position is for students returning to school after their work term or requiring a placement as requirements for graduation. While not required, preference will be given to students enrolled in a registered Co-op program.

We are looking for an Analyst student who is eager to learn, support strategic initiatives, and contribute meaningful insights in a collaborative environment. This student position provides hands‑on experience in research, data analysis, reporting, presentation development, and cross‑functional project coordination while being supported by experienced team members and mentors.
You will join a strategy and governance‑focused team and contribute to activities such as strategic planning, analysis, reporting, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement. Your work will help guide decision‑making, improve alignment across teams, and support key governance and planning activities across the organization.
What You'll Do
Strategic & Analytical Support
Develop and deliver well‑structured, compelling presentation materials for senior audiences.
Support strategic and annual planning activities, including roadmap development, strategy documentation, financial planning, and forecasting.
Help translate analysis into insights that inform decision‑making and support alignment across teams.
Assist with select projects and initiatives by collecting data, conducting analysis, and supporting problem‑solving activities.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Collect, clean, and analyze data to create meaningful insights and reports for TPGS stakeholders.
Build standardized and ad‑hoc Power BI reports to support Procurement and Third‑Party Governance & Support objectives.
Requirements Gathering
Collect and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and review of existing documentation.
Process Improvement
Analyze existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements that support productivity and consistency.
Stakeholder Communication
Support communication and coordination among TPRM stakeholders, including Technology groups, Procurement, Second Line, and suppliers.
Documentation & Support
Assist in developing process maps, user guides, documentation packages, and training materials.
Project Assistance
Support project tracking, follow‑ups, coordination, and testing activities as assigned.
What You'll Be Working With
Your work may involve some of the following tools or areas (experience in all is not required):
Data & Reporting Tools: Power BI, MS Excel, SharePoint
Documentation & Collaboration: SharePoint, Confluence, Teams, Jira
Presentation Tools: PowerPoint, Thinkcell (asset)
Analysis & Planning: Business analysis techniques, workflow mapping, strategic planning frameworks
What You Bring
Currently in your second year or higher, pursuing a post‑secondary degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Economics, Data/Analytics, or a related field.
Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
Ability to structure data and findings into clear, logical insights and recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with employees at all levels.
Proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel; experience with Power BI, Thinkcell, Macros, or workflow tools is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and willingness to learn new tools and processes.

The base salary for this position is between $48,000 - $71,900 annually. This represents base salary only and does not represent other variable compensation components of our total compensation ( i.e. annual bonus, commission etc). If you are selected to move forward in our recruitment process, your recruiter will be able to discuss additional details of our total rewards program with you.
For our student opportunities, the base salary will be dendent on the number of work terms you have completed along with other factors depending on your program.
