About Day Translations

We are seeking a Full-Time DevOps Engineer / Systems Administrator to manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure across AWS and OVH environments.

Responsibilities
• Manage and maintain infrastructure on AWS and OVH
• Administer Linux servers
• Monitor uptime, performance, and system health
• Configure and maintain Nginx or Apache
• Manage MySQL and/or PostgreSQL databases
• Oversee backups and disaster recovery
• Implement security best practices (firewalls, SSL, patching)
• Manage DNS and domain configurations
• Support deployments and CI/CD workflows
• Quickly troubleshoot outages and performance issues

Requirements
• Strong Linux system administration experience
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, IAM, S3 preferred)
• Experience working with OVH Cloud
• Experience managing MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Experience configuring Nginx or Apache
• Strong understanding of networking and DNS
• Experience implementing secure backup and recovery systems
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of infrastructure
