What You'll Do
Communicates and co-ordinates with cooks to ensure appropriate quality and quantity of food and service meets acceptable standards. Assists with managing the inventory levels of food and beverage and prepares orders if required. Provides recommendations to improve the product, service, efficiency of the operation. Assists in all aspects of Quick Serve operations as required, i.e., cook, cashier, stock, etc. Maintains confidentiality for all aspects of business operations. Maintains and provides daily records, statistics and generates reports that capture venue sales, productivity, inventories, and cost analysis. Assists in managing the daily cash transactions including floats, imprest funds, daily change orders, and accountable for any cash discrepancies. In the absence of the Manager, be responsible to operate management functions of the POS System to ensure smooth operation of the business. Performs other clerical duties and administrative functions such as answering phones, recording data, tabulating data, reconcile timecards, etc. Supervises in Quick Serve operation including scheduling staff, training, assigning workstations and tasks, and monitoring staff, as required. Monitor's quality of food, cleanliness, level of service and other standards for the operations. Ensures equipment is in good operating order and arranges for repairs, as required. Provides technical guidance, advice, and assistance to staff, as required. Ensures staff under their Supervision works in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, WHMIS, Safe Food handling, and established policies and procedures and are provided with the required training. Ensures prompt and efficient customer service and follows up with concerns and takes required action; resolves guests' concerns. Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Act, First Aid, WHMIS, AGCO Regulations, Safe Food Handling Regulations, Recycling Programs and established policies and procedures. Provides guests with information regarding NPC Attractions and Events. Promotes a positive image of the Niagara Parks Commission. Provides quality customer service that meets NPC Standards. As Assigned.
What You'll Bring
Completion of High School Diploma or equivalent knowledge or experience. Smart Serve Certification may be required. Safe food handling may be required. Three (3) seasons of related experience. Knowledge of various aspects of fast-food operations, basic recording keeping skills, knowledge of cash register and cashing handling procedures; knowledge of NPC facilities.
