Job Description: Reporting to the Manager Provincial Pediatric Pharmacy Services & JPCH Manager, the position is committed to the integration of knowledge, skills, and process to assist in coordinating the orientation of new staff, delivery of pharmacy programs and to ensure development and upkeep of tools and information for healthcare providers and/or patients re: medication-related issues. The incumbent is also responsible for representing the Department on designated committees and coordinating pharmacy initiatives as it relates to the designated projects. The incumbent will be required to work in a Pharmacist role when required. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS members in accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"

Experience

  • Two years hospital pharmacy experience

Education

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSP)Entry-level Degree

Licenses

  • CPRB certification from an accredited Pharmacy Residency Prgram is an asset
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)

Memberships

  • Pharmacy Association of Saskatchewan (PAS)
  • Saskatchewan College of Pharmacy Professionals (SCPP)

Other Education and Training

  • Entry level PharmD is acceptable
