THE OPPORTUNITY
We're seeking a Sales Executive to drive growth of our Bumper Lifecycle and Bumper Ads platforms across Canadian dealerships. This is a high-impact role where you'll own the full sales cycle – from prospecting to close – while helping dealers modernize their marketing and retention strategies.
You'll be joining during an exciting growth phase as we expand market share, strengthen OEM partnerships, and scale our recurring revenue model. This role offers the autonomy to build your territory, uncapped earning potential, and the backing of proven products that deliver real results for dealers.
We expect the successful candidate will realize on-target earnings in excess of $140,000 in the first year with room to grow beyond by exceeding targets and in consecutive years.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Full-Cycle Sales Ownership
Prospect, qualify, and close new dealership accounts across your assigned territory
Conduct discovery calls to understand dealership pain points and revenue opportunities
Deliver compelling product demonstrations that connect Bumper's capabilities to measurable business outcomes
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline using HubSpot CRM with accurate forecasting
Negotiate contracts and pricing within established guidelines
Strategic Account Development
Develop territory plans that identify high-value prospects and strategic dealership groups
Build relationships with dealership GMs, marketing directors, fixed ops managers, and ownership
Position Bumper Lifecycle and Bumper Ads as revenue-driving solutions, not marketing expenses
Collaborate with our Customer Success team to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term retention
Leverage case studies, ROI data, and testimonials to accelerate deal cycles
Market Intelligence & Product Feedback
Stay current on automotive retail trends, competitor offerings, and dealership challenges
Provide product and marketing teams with frontline insights to improve positioning and features
Represent Vicimus at industry events, trade shows, and dealership conferences as needed
WHAT YOU BRING
Required Experience & Skills
3+ years of B2B software sales experience selling to automotive dealerships
(This is non-negotiable – you must have sold software or technology solutions into dealership environments)
Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota in a SaaS or subscription-based sales environment
Exceptional discovery and consultative selling skills – you uncover needs, not push features
Strong presentation and demonstration abilities, both in-person and via video
Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) including pipeline management, activity tracking, and forecasting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly within your territory

LOCATION & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Must be based in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada
Major market location (Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa) is an asset for proximity to dealership groups
Travel required for in-person meetings, demos, and industry events
Flexible remote work with occasional in-office collaboration (if near a Vicimus office)
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You'll report to the VP of Sales and work closely with:
Sales Operations for deal structuring, forecasting, and CRM workflows
Marketing for lead generation, content, and campaign alignment
Customer Success to ensure seamless handoffs and long-term client satisfaction
Product teams to communicate feature requests and market feedback
