Salary: Starting salary opportunity $ 77,600+
- Actual base pay will depend and vary based on factors such as individual experience and skills of the applicant.
Overtime Eligibility: Every 3rd week, employees are required to be on call 24/7, receiving a stipend rate of $320/week. Additionally, every 2nd week employees will receive $320/week for completing payroll processes.
- This position is eligible for overtime pay in accordance with applicable labour laws. Overtime is paid at the legally required rate and may vary based on hours worked beyond the standard schedule.
Bonus : Bonus at Target $19,400
- Variable Compensation opportunities are contingent on individual performance and overall business results, pursuant to the Bonus Plan; listed amount are targeted values and not guarantees

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsibility for the daily management of the fleet operation in Ontario. Managing drivers (union employees) daily, using coaching and progressive discipline as required to ensure that behavioral performance and safety expectations are met.
- Creating and posting shipping logs daily, assigning drivers to their daily activities and ensuring all T1 and T2 fleet transport requirements are met.
- Supporting all third-party carrier operations for loads originating in Ontario including but not limited to tasks such as load tendering, load follow ups to ensure loads are picked up/delivered, monitoring and managing performance.
- Supporting Brewery Operations and ensuring that transport requirements are met.
- Ensuring that empty bottle requirements are met and full goods shipments are picked up and delivered where required.
- Resolving various problems and related complaints and implementing corrective measures and process improvements.
- Managing multiple KPIs and PIs through daily monitoring to improve productivity, efficiency and align with financial targets through benchmarking and using tools through Labatt's excellence program.
- Continuously managing costs and looking for opportunities to improve across the entire transport network.
- Applying strong understanding of the facility budget and actual performance to proactively identify and implement cost improvement opportunities and delivering overall market unit/total Canada logistics costs.
- Proactively leading and executing the safety and environment programs within all staging facilities to ensure a safe, compliant and productive working environment for all employees, while participating in their improvement.
- Shifting management of the union/management processes and relationships within the warehouse/staging facilities.
- Training workers in duties and playing an active leadership role within the brewery/warehouse operations, including the site's Innovation program.
- Providing coaching, leadership, development and performance management (including performance reviews) to/of team members in the staging/warehouse.
- Responsibility for monitoring Driver Scorecard and Driver behavior through Geotab to improve performance and ensure compliance with Company Guidelines.
- Utilizing Geotab to monitor, track and follow up with drivers on their Highway Traffic Act Compliance.
- Quarterly Territory planning analysis and implementation to ensure optimized route to market.
- Completing daily routing plans aligned with customer requirements while balancing cost and service levels.
- Being on call 24/7 in case of Driver emergencies or inquiries.
- Monitoring, calculating and executing Driver Payroll daily.
Job Requirements:
- Completion of a post-secondary education program of two to three years in business, supply chain production or manufacturing management is required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead an operations facility with 2-3 years direct supervisory experience in warehouse/transport operations within a unionized environment.
- Experience managing large teams of up to 50 employees.
- Strong leadership skills required.
- Demonstrated operational excellence and a proven ability to manage transport operations in a high-volume environment.
- A respected and trusted leader with a track record of achievement, solid technical skills and a reputation as a leader of change.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with other leaders on sensitive and/or emotional issues.
- Excellent computer, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Competencies: Advanced knowledge of Roadnet/Descartes system, SAP, Geotab, High Jump, Excel & Power BI required
- Background in Continuous Improvement projects: LEAN, Six Sigma and/or White Belt certification
- Completion of management leadership program is strongly preferred
- Candidate has been a part of a Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG)/Supply Excellence program
