Location: Niagara Falls, ON (On-site)
Compensation Range: $18.00-$22.00/hr

Please note that Niagara Parks operates seasonally; therefore, this position is expected to begin between April and July, depending on operational needs.

  • What You'll Do

  • Balances imprest and verifies any change orders delivered.
  • Update reservation system-verify previous day's tours are completed, scan comment sheets and bring any issues to the attention of the Manager, Chef or Designate.
  • Provides BOH and Hostess with Tour Comment Sheets, summaries and function notices.
  • Check messages on phone system and reply as needed; alternately direct message to proper individual. 
  • Maintains NPC Employee Information Board-Checks for and posts Staff Memos 
  • Maintains and updates reservation systems, where applicable.
  • Orders supplies from Maintenance and Distribution Centres as instructed
  • Completes daily invoices as required
  • Maintains electronic records, including but not limited to "Food and Beverage Costs", "Income Analysis Reports", "Actual Sales" 
  • Accepts deliveries
  • Answer phones and direct calls as needed. 
  • Monitors office supply inventory and advises Manager or Designate of necessary orders. 
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information. 
  • Monitors and changes item pricing on inventory sheets, as required. 
  • Prints inventory sheets and distributes to Chefs and Supervisors.
  • Inputs counted inventory in preparation for month end.
  • Prepares interdepartmental and between venue transfer sheets for Manager or Designate review and approval. 
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager or Designate.
  • Works in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, First Aid, AGCO Regulations, Recycling Program and established policies and procedures. 
  • Provides guests with information regarding NPC Attractions and Events.
  • Promotes a positive image of the Niagara Parks Commission.
  • Provides quality customer service that meets NPC standards.
  • What You'll Bring

  • Enrolled in Post-Secondary Administrative Course. 
  • Knowledge of NPC Culinary Services facilities and services; general knowledge of general clerical procedures as well as customer service skills; record keeping skills.
  • Ability to handle large volumes of data entry with accuracy and ability to multi-task is essential.
