Turner Fleischer is one of Canada's most progressive design studios with 250+ committed, creative and driven professionals. We excel at developing client-centric concepts that are based on their needs but grounded in 50 years of experience getting projects built. Our in-house design departments include Architecture, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research + development, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.
Who Are We looking for?
As an Accounting Clerk, you work diligently to maintain the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Your role will encompass a wide range of essential accounting functions that are vital to the smooth operation of our financial processes. By meticulously handling financial data and transactions, you will contribute to the overall financial efficiency of our studio. This is a new opening created to support the department's expansion.
What You Will Do:
- Reconcile accounts payables for vendors and consultants.
- Reconcile corporate credit card accounts.
- Maintain, verify, and update numerous ledgers.
- Provide and prepare information for reports in a timely manner.
- Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies effectively.
What You Will Bring:
- A degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance.
- Keen attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure, within tight deadlines.
- Effective communication and support internal workflows without engaging directly with internal or external stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and pivot charts in Excel.
- Ability to work a hybrid role, with 3 days in our Studio.
- Experienced with ERP software is an asset.
What We Will Provide:
The expected gross annual base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $60,000. Final compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
