OverviewThe Restaurant Cook is responsible for working within the premium areas and restaurants within the venue. The Restaurant Cook must adhere to high food quality standards to ensure guest satisfaction.
This is a seasonal role from May 4, 2026 and will end on Ocober 1, 2026.
This role pays an hourly rate of $23.00 CAD
This position will remain open until May 8, 2026.
Responsibilities- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, following the specifications, recipes and techniques of the company
- Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef's instructions
- Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
- Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
- Set up stocking stations with all necessary supplies
- Garnish each dish in a creative and aesthetically pleasing manner
- Ensure that the correct quantities are prepared to meet daily needs
- Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on a schedule created by the restaurant
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management
- Experience working as a cook in a restaurant setting or premium suites within a venue environment
- Culinary school diploma or other professional culinary certificates
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Must be able to work different shifts, which may include holidays, evenings and weekends
- Able to legally work in Canada
