• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.


• Facilitate legitimate trade and travel while preventing illicit activity.


• Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to ensure compliance with regulations.

Duty locations include major airports, seaports, border crossings, and other high-traffic areas across the United States. As a CBPO you will be part of an elite team responsible for safeguarding national security, enforcing federal laws,
avoiding cargo fraud,
evaluating documents.
The salary for this position varies by grade level:

1. GS-5: $40 332 - $109 952 per year
