As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the United States' borders, enforcing laws and regulations, and facilitating legitimate trade and travel. Your expertise will be essential in identifying potential threats to national security, conducting interviews with suspected violators of laws, and making accurate judgments regarding the admissibility of individuals into the country.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing customs, immigration, agriculture laws
- Facilitating trade & travel while preventing illicit activity
- Detecting & detaining potential threats to national security
Required Skills & Qualifications:
h4 no-style=font-weight:bold prematurely Specialized Experience: You must possess at least one (1) year of experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
lit.detaining suspects using proper law enforcement methods The above experience will be applied towards rapid decision-making as well as enforcement/administration of relevant regulations,instructions& procedures.
