As a Customs and Border Protection Officer, you will be part of the Department of Homeland Security workforce responsible for safeguarding our borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing national economic prosperity.

The job involves enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. You will also conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances to determine admissibility into the United States.

• Enforce customs, immigration, and agriculture laws; facilitate legitimate trade; inspect conveyances;


• Determine individual entry eligibility into the U.S.; prevent unauthorized entry;


• Conduct interviews in law enforcement capacity to gather information from suspected violators;

l pose minimum 1 year experience equivalent to next lower grade level involving:
i Detaining or arresting violators using proper methods;
ti Enforcing import/export laws/international shipping;
cii Utilizing intelligence/behavior analysis techniques;
