Who We Are
Helsing is a defence AI company. Our mission is to protect our democracies.
We aim to achieve technological leadership, so that open societies can continue to make sovereign decisions and control their ethical standards.
As democracies, we believe we have a special responsibility to be thoughtful about the development and deployment of powerful technologies like AI.
We take this responsibility seriously.
We are an ambitious and committed team of engineers, AI specialists and customer-facing programme managers.
We are looking for mission-driven people to join our European teams – and apply their skills to solve the most complex and impactful problems.
We embrace an open and transparent culture that welcomes healthy debates on the use of technology in defence, its benefits, and its ethical implications.

Lead the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including system requirements, architecture, and design specifications.
Author and coordinate ACS specifications for suppliers and serve as the primary technical point of contact during contractual and Statement of Work (SoW) negotiations.
Oversee the entire development lifecycle, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and systems integration, to ensure a cohesive and robust system design.
Conduct and participate in design reviews, safety assessments, and risk analysis to identify and mitigate potential issues.
Manage the verification and validation processes for the ACS to ensure it meets all performance and safety requirements.
You should apply if you

Have strong background and experience in the development of complex, safety-critical systems within the aerospace or defence industry.
Have in-depth knowledge of safety-critical software development standards.
Have Experience in developing and managing system requirements, specifications and interface control documents.
Proficiency with systems engineering tools for requirements management, modeling, and simulation
Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to report and present results clearly and effectively to both internal and external stakeholders.
