Job Description:
The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals to join their elite team of law enforcement professionals. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the nation's borders, preventing illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.
Duties & Responsibilities:
•
Detect illegal entry of persons or contraband by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.
•
Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers of noncitizens at or near the borders.
•
Inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
The successful candidate must have one (1) year of general work experience that demonstrates ability to take charge, make sound decisions,
maintain composure in stressful situations; learn regulations, methods,& techniques through classroom training&/or on-the-job instruction;
gather concise information through questioning, observation,& examination of documents& records.",
