• This position requires the ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations, learn regulations methods techniques through classroom training or on-the-job instruction gather concise information through questioning observation examination documents records OR A bachelor's degree superior academic achievement based class standing grade-point average (GPA 3.0 higher out possible 4.0) honor society membership one full year graduate-level education field study related law enforcement e.g., criminal justice homeland security justice studies law enforcement courts judicial systems forensic technology forensic psychology corrections rehabilitation from accredited college university Combination experience education calculated resume official unofficial transcripts submitted application Note previous current law enforcement military law enforcement experience may qualify GL-9 GS-11 grade level please refer BPA announcement​
