Protective Security Specialist

The primary duty of a Border Patrol Agent is to protect national security and prevent illegal immigration while enforcing customs laws and regulations. This role involves detecting and questioning people suspected of violating these laws, inspecting documents and possessions for verification purposes, preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the border using covert surveillance techniques.
