This CBP officer role is an exciting opportunity to join a team dedicated to safeguarding our borders and protecting American interests. As a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officer, you will play a critical part in enforcing laws related to importing, exporting, and international shipping.
### Essential Skills and Qualifications
• You must have at least one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level that includes detaining suspected violators of federal, state or local laws.
• Experience should include enforcing customs regulations relating to importing/exporting goods into/from the U.S..
You can substitute education for some or all of this work experience using your Master's degree from an accredited university.
Citizenship: US citizen required
The selected candidate will enjoy great compensation including salary ranging from $61k-$124k per annum depending on GS-9 grade level eligibility.
