AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive elementary school team in Shakopee, MN to hire a Speech Language Pathologist!This school-based Speech Language Pathologist position offers a clearly defined caseload, strong clinical support, and a structured academic-year assignment. This role is designed with sustainability in mind, emphasizing collaboration, realistic caseload expectations, and consistent clinical support.
*Position Overview*
* Position: Speech Language Pathologist
* Location: Shakopee, MN
* Schedule Options: Full-Time or Part-Time
* Hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM (student day aligned)
* Compensation: $60,000–$75,000 salary or $45–$65/hour, based on experience and schedule
* Start Date: ASAP (through June 5)
This role is available for an ASAP start, with support in place for a smooth onboarding.
*Caseload & Setting Details*
* Elementary school setting serving grades K–5
* Single building assignment (one location)
* Approximate caseload:
* 13 students with case management
* 45–50 students receiving SLI services
* Student needs include:
* General education resource settings
* Center-based programs supporting Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD)
* Building overview:
* Under 500 students total
* Four specialized programs on site (including autism-focused programming)
* Service model includes a blend of pull-out, push-in, and consult-based services
* Dedicated or shared therapy workspace provided

*Your Impact *(Responsibilities)
* Provide speech-language therapy services aligned with IEP goals
* Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and documentation in compliance with school-based requirements
* Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with related service providers, teachers, and families
* Support students across a range of communication needs in both general education and specialized settings
* Maintain ethical, student-centered, and evidence-based practices
*What You’ll Bring* (Qualifications)
* Active Minnesota Speech-Language Pathologist license through PELSB
* Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
* Experience or interest in school-based practice
* Comfort supporting elementary-aged students with varied needs
* Strong collaboration and communication skills
* Clinical Fellows are welcome with appropriate state eligibility
