*About the Opportunity:*
AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive and collaborative school district in Bowie, MD to welcome a *Speech Language Pathologist *to join their high school team. *What You’ll Do:*
* Provide speech-language therapy and intervention services to high school students
* Address a range of communication needs, including articulation and language delays, Autism, and complex communication needs
* Support students with communication-related behavioral needs
* Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
* Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
*Caseload Details:*
* Serve students in grades 9–12
* Blended high school caseload
* SLPs case manage speech-only class
* Some students have severe and profound disabilities and use AAC
* Average caseload of approximately 50–55 students
* District utilizes a workload model designed to ensure equitable distribution of responsibilities
* Approximately half of the workday is dedicated to direct IEP service delivery
* Additional support is provided if workload or caseload overages occur
*Qualifications:*
* Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (MSLP)
* Active Maryland Department of Health SLP License
* Experience working with high school or secondary students strongly preferred
* Experience with AAC or complex communication needs is a plus
* Strong communication, collaboration, and cultural competence
