Job Summary:
Our Seattle, Washington location is looking for skilled Material Handlers to join our fast-paced logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient and safe flow of materials within the warehouse, utilizing forklifts and other material handling equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of warehouse operations, excellent mechanical aptitude, and a dedication to Safety. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure that inventory is managed effectively and that orders are processed accurately. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Transport materials to and from designated storage areas within the warehouse.
  • Stack and organize materials in a safe and orderly manner.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper working condition.
  • Assist with inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Follow all established Safety procedures and protocols.
  • Identify and report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
  • Support overall warehouse operations and logistics flow.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification required).
  • Ability to perform heavy Lifting, up to 75 lbs.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse Safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent mechanical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE, including safety shoes and high-visibility clothing.
