Are you an experienced Forklift Operator looking for a new opportunity in San Antonio, Texas? We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious individual to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment within our busy warehouse. This role is critical for the efficient movement of goods, loading and unloading trucks, and managing inventory. You will be responsible for ensuring all operations are conducted safely and efficiently, contributing directly to our logistics success. This position requires proficiency in forklift operation, attention to detail, and the ability to perform tasks that may involve some lifting. - Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Load and unload trucks and trailers with incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport goods from receiving areas to storage, or from storage to shipping areas.
- Perform routine checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and ensure accurate stock placement.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Collaborate with other warehouse personnel to ensure smooth logistics operations.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned, which may include some manual lifting.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform the job, including occasional lifting and standing.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
