Join our team as an Order Picker in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and play a vital role in our distribution center's success. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking items to fulfill customer orders. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety. Your daily tasks will involve navigating the warehouse, selecting products using scanning equipment, and preparing them for packing and shipment. We prioritize the safety of our employees, providing necessary PPE and ensuring all operations adhere to strict safety protocols. This role involves considerable physical activity, including frequent lifting and standing. As a key part of our logistics network, you'll contribute directly to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product identification and quantity against order details.
- Safely transport picked items to the packing and shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE.
- Perform inventory checks and report any stock discrepancies to management.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations through diligent work.
- Handle the physical demands of the job, including regular lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to guidelines.
