An Inventory Control Specialist is needed for our busy warehouse in Provo, Utah. This role is fundamental to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory, which is vital for our logistics operations. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring all inventory data is precise within our system. A keen eye for detail and analytical skills are essential for success in this position. We are looking for someone proactive, organized, and committed to upholding high standards of inventory management. This position offers a chance to contribute significantly to the efficiency and profitability of our warehouse. You will work closely with various departments to ensure seamless inventory flow. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices is required. Maintaining a safe and orderly storage environment is a priority. We provide comprehensive training and the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety. This role involves regular interaction with warehouse staff and management, requiring excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting on inventory status.
- Implementing and improving inventory control procedures.
- Ensuring proper storage and handling of all goods.
- Collaborating with receiving and shipping departments.
- Identifying and recommending solutions for inventory challenges.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and guidelines.
