Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, inspecting incoming merchandise, stocking inventory, processing outgoing shipments, and coordinating with carriers. Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and document all incoming shipments, verifying against purchase orders.
- Unpack, sort, and store received goods in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment.
- Generate shipping labels, bills of lading, and other necessary shipping documentation.
- Coordinate with freight carriers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock management.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, including the correct use of PPE.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs.
- Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to PPE requirements.
